Enticing Winter by Sherelle Green

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is not my typical review. I go off topic a bit, however, I do finally get around to my actual review. So, hang in there with me.

Unbeknownst to me, I purchased Book 3 of this series at the 2017 Romantic Times Conference. I also got an opportunity to meet Author Sherelle Green at the conference. She was welcoming and very nice.

I’m really not big on series. I honestly prefer to read stand-alone novels. Hence the reason this novel set on the self until Harlequin sent out a 50% off coupon. I purchased books 1 & 2. Unfortunately, you have to read these novels in order. Thank you, Harlequin because it was WORTH IT.

Book one of the Bare Sophistication Series, Enticing Winter was simply amazing. The novel opened with a blind date between Tahiem Reed and Winter Dupree. OMGreatness, the date was so bad.
I mean BAD. Tahiem was an hour late. And, Winter had some choice words for him. After a bad date, how did these two make a love connection?

Due to their line of work, Tahiem and Winter ran in the same circles. They were constantly working on the same projects. Over time they began to tolerate each other. The tension between the two was perfect. Sometimes, authors overdo the tension between the hero and heroine. Sherelle Green did a nice job. Nothing was forced and the pace of the novel was perfect. Until, Winter met Tahiem’s mother, Regina Reed for the first time. In my humble opinion, the one-sided conversation was too much for a first encounter.

Enticing Winter was believable, developed and well written. The love scenes were classy and exquisitely written. I’m a romance novel junkie at heart. Enticing Winter was a great novel. I’m looking forward to book two, Falling for Autumn.
